WTF My social Network went from a pr 4 to Zero... what the hell happened?

I installed twitter and facebook connect and then I drop all my PR ranking?

has anyone heard of this happening before?

How fast did it happen? Usually it takes time to drop that low. My blogged went from PR4 to PR2, and then to PR0 a few years ago. It was because I was selling text links, I didn't know this at the time. I stopped, and continued to write and now I'm backed to PR4.

If it was PR4, then I believe that it was "temporary PR", and not permanent.
I haven't heard of a site going from PR4 to PR0 directly, that fast.

I agree, might have been temporary PR. Dropping 4 points like that almost sounds impossible.

There hasn't been a real PR update in quite a while. There have been a bunch of minor updates that are either manual updates or based on a specific algorithm.

I also experienced that before, from PR 3 to 0, but it lasted only briefly and then returned to PR 3

It's back but it's only a pr 3 now - I was really nervous, but I'm happy I have something

Did it come back on it's own or did you make an inquiry with Google?

Is selling text links against Google's TOS or something?
And how did Google find out you were selling those links?
