I'm trying to find a script that is similar to tetongravity.com

I want to have a forum website with video and a similar homepage, I don't which script is the best. Does vbulletin have a mod for this? I've been googling all day trying to find a script that has a all in 1 type of deal.

I will probably end up getting custom work done, but I'm on the cheap side currently.

    Thanks!

Whatever they're using, it's buggy with server error pages all over the place.

I would not use vbulletin either, it's buggy as well.

Custom is the way to go, which is what I'm going to do with my own site. Lucky for me, I'm good with PHP/MySQL.

People that wont come back, I couldn't get past the homepage. A site like that wont retain users and push them away cause they'll remember.

I have no idea where you could started, I know PHP and do my own coding.

You could do something like this with a cms like e107 - there are free plugins for it which would give you all the functionality you need, BUT ... the real thing here is to get the skin designed properly by someone who knows what they're doing. In the case of e107 there is a forum with lots of good themers - e107 forum
I'm sure there are probably other cms's which could do it, but I know about e107 so that's my tip ;)

E107 seems pretty good, drupal too

Ahh which one should I choose. I'm open to developers BTW. But I would rather have most of the functionalities down, and just the theme to worry about.

go with drupal, e107 is way behind the other cms-s development, has small community - it is a dead project.
