Those labels "Sponsored Links" for google ads are against the TOS.

Really...doesn't Google allow you to use "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements" as a header?

    Aha, I knew I was right. <_<

Nice forums, clean layout. If your CTR is not too great, maybe move all adsense ads closer to the top so the user doesn't have to scroll. Good luck.

you are using the little charaters like this [IMG]

I think if you want to use them in the site you need to use that type theme - if not they are out of place with the other graphics you have on there

Oh, okay. The icons just come along with the skin, but I'll see if there's something better.

How does my ad positioning look? Any other suggestions as to where to put them?

Since you ask my opinion I will give it.
On the front page you want to entice people to come in and look around - that is what you most need is people to come in , look around and join, and on the inner pages get the money.

So use your front page to give the reasons to join and give them reasons to read on - make the money after that!!!

Use every inch of the front page to draw their interest - lets face it - you need members and traffic in order to make any forum successful first.

    Monetization can come slowly!

That's a good thought. I'll look into that and change some stuff around.

    Thanks!
