    Does anyone have any hard evidence that these sites have any value in terms of SEO and driving traffic? My domains receive traffic from digg, reddit, and a few others in this list, and links from these domains have shown up in google webmaster tools or yahoo site explorer, but I've also used a number of others and had months pass with not a single visit, and not a single link showing up in google or yahoo's list of incoming links. I also use google alerts to watch mentions, and besides the big-name ones, I've never seen anything show up in google alerts. I think many of these sites are so esoteric that it's highly unlikely google will even crawl a page containing your link, let alone follow the link and assign any SEO value to it.

    Most of these services are just overrun with self-promotional spammers. Do your homework before wasting your time!

    I'd be interested to learn, however, if there are any key sites in this list that people have evidence of being helpful.

    Great list but as a few people pointed out this can be found on social marker. I have used it as well and If you are using Firefox then go to SocialMarker Dot Com and book mark it. It just makes the whole book marking process a whole lot easier
