first you have to have allot of followers in particular niche, then second you want to build a nice relationship with them without trying to come across a sales person too much, also you twitts have to be consistent, say 5 to 10 per day, and in the middle of those you put a link back to your page. just search people who are tweeting about ur product/service and mention them with a tweet and a hash tag.

-Give value to people, create interesting profile with a nice picture(Just Google search image),and your story. If you let your profile empty, no one would want to follow you.
-Visit those that are similar or related to your interest or product you promote.
-I am using only free traffic methods for increasing my Twitter followers. You have to know the way to make it happen.
-I also use free method of how to unfollow those Twitter users that are no follow me.
-I use auto non-spam message saying thank you for the follow who is following me and I automatically following them without login to Twitter to do tedious jog manually.
