Torrent Business?

am thinking to open a torrent site but i heard there is many legal issues i have to worry about !!!!

anybody have an idea?

 

yeah, I have an idea, don't do it. I recommend staying away from torrent sites. There are many good ones already out there that are being hosted offshore and have dealt with all the legal stuff. I wouldn't ever get into it myself.

 

Thanks for the advice ... the idea of opening a torrent site is the traffic that can be generated in no time !

 

As long as you don't support the illegal downloading and just provide a hosting like service I think you are in the clear.

i do not think any torrents are 100% legal

 

they are not legal, try keep away from them
they get u visitors but not reputation.

 

Determining if it is legal or not depends on who is making the distinction.

Today's laws, regardless of the country, are more subjective than ever. Very few places are safe from the special interest of big business.

If you decide to do something make sure your properly setup, ie anonymous hosting, etc.

 

Let's say you could make it to work and do make some xtra cash. Would you be able to tell everyone that the cash you generate comes from torrent sites, which costs alot of gaming producers and whatnot alot of millions every year....

Instead of doing this, do something you could be proud of, and be legal?

 

What you think? if iam into opening an illegal site why bother opening the thread in the first place???? of course iam thinking legal thats why i asked so i can investigate the whole project if it worth or not the effort !!
