How to market on Twitter?

All of my followers are trying to promote their product and each one of them have so many followers they can't even see my Tweets on their wall and no one really cares about them anyway. Any tips and tricks?

 

Follow real buyer not seller, I think you are following more seller than buyer, thats why most of your follower promoting their product. You can use some terms to avoid seller when you follow people, use those terms.

 

You need to target your audience so you're marketing to people who you know are interested in your product.

The thing is there is not many real buyers anymore and those who are, are sick of people trying to sell them stuff....

You need to get more fans.. stop using "U follow, I follow" formula.

There are a lot of tools that generate automated tweets, DMs and replies with autofollow those who follows them.

So, it might not entirely the real person behind those tweets that sent to you.

You need to find real person who actually tweets by checking all his information and connections correctly before following.

 

I'm scraping proxies and following with ~100 accounts at the moment, takes long to build good list but hey.. money is good
Reply cheap products to people and people will buy!

 

I don't have really that amount of follower. But as I know I have to build a good relation with my followers first, so that they hear me when I post anything.

 

just build your network there related to your target audience and engage with theme...

There are twitter accounts that has a lot of followers because of the tweet that they post. And sometimes, tweet such as selling stuff is one of the attention grabber. In my opinion, you should tweet that are interesting enough to catch other twitter users attention.

 

Hi Vinc, basically what you can do is:
1. if you want your post get found, schedule your twitter post and even repeat post using tools like tweekdeck and hootsuite, put hash tag to your post topics, so when people search the topic, your post will appear
2. if you feel your twitter page is too annoying (too much posts you dont really care), you can set up twitter list or group to categorize people and then you only need to check out the list or group. for example, you can set a list for your favorite bloggers or singers

This is so true and mostly people on twitter are also selling their stuff or promoting their sites tip is just see if they had websites in their profile if not then must be their just there to tweet and not promoting.

The most important thing people need to know when it comes to marketing with twitter is getting more followers. More followers as in REAL followers who tweet often and are active. Try to follow more people and get them to follow back.
