Income Generating Ideas for my Site

    Hi guys

    I manage a website in the UFO/conspiracy niche which enjoys a great deal of traffic. CPC is very low within that niche so I am in need of alternative ways to generate a little income.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Are there any products on Clickbank that could compliment your niche? How about finding a PLR eBook and offering it as a "free giveaway" if they enter in an e-mail address, this way you are capturing your e-mail so you can make money from them in the future.

    Prefiber: dropshipment might be a good idea.. currently I am selling affiliate product through amazon without much success though.
    CraigC: There is not really anything good in clickbank for that niche. Email marketing might be a good idea, but instead of emails I have been focusing on getting a large following for the facebook fanpage, with some success.

    Could be a potential goldmine really, if you could think of a *related* product (eBook for example) you could write it yourself and sell it to your visitors for 100% profit.

    Just some idea's, keep going with the Facebook promotion, it's a great way to promote, perhaps look into Twitter too.

    Traffic is the basics of monetizing a website. Try getting enough traffic and you should earn from CPM based ad networks is CPC is low.

    CraigC: I might consider creating my own clickbank product yes.

    Mentos: Great idea! I've seen other sites do that within the niche and it seems to work.

    csreference: I always work on improving traffic, but the current income does not justify my investment. CPM might help.

    MayaLocke: I am not currently selling a lot of Amazon based products and do not believe a Zazzle partnership would improve that. But thanks for the advise.
