Wow, there's a really professional way to let someone know they made a mistake, so much maturity. That figure was for Rupert Mudoch's News Corp. which was at 24 Billion. My mistake.

Not that it changes the fact that myspace isn't worth 400 Billion, or adds any relevance at all to this discussion, but yes I was wrong.

Something is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. A grilled cheese sandwich sold on ebay for $28,000, so who knows!

you tube? maybee about 1.6 billion in stocks if the right company buys it ;)

myspace? maybe about 2-4 billion max..

I am shocked that youtube sold for that much.. BUT if it had been money, I wouldnt say it would cross the 500 million mark

won't happen. The company that owns MySpace right now bought it for $500 million, so if Google buys it, imagine a 5+ billion.

Google buy Myspace. I doubt it unless the tv industry suddenly fails (Murdoch).

If 1.6 billion = 1.25 % of google stocks, $5 billion would be only like 4% of googles stock..

Maybe 380m cash... but stocks are valued different..

Personally, I would have held out for $500 million cash and then not have to worry about watching stocks,etc..

$500 will buy a few private islands to retire on ;)
