Can article directories still make money?

Can article directories still make above $2,000 profit per month? Any one has profitable and successful article directories?

 

I'm sure the good ones clear much more than $2000 per month. However, the market is saturated and is only going to get less profitable now that google have started to crack down on spam article directories.

 

sure you can make a good amount of money, but you'll need to make sure you don't let every piece of content in.

Also you may want to try and go for niche article directories and if you're offering it to everyone for free and earning from advertising. You'll want to spend some money promoting the articles they put up. Building backlinks etc.

As soon as people notice that the articles at your website start getting top 10 positions, you'll get more and more people adding articles.

A paid article directory is also another option, you build the article directory yourself first, get a few hundred articles in there. Then build links as you go and get those articles on first page in google and then offer people a membership for like 20 - 50 a month to post unlimited amound of articles (unique of course)

That could be some easy play money if you do it right 50 members at 50 dollars is 2500 already, and if you've got the pagerank and the results to show them, you could pull it of. All that's left for you then is reach into different niches. 10 article directories like these and you'll be earning something you can call decent
It may also be helpful to put a cap on the amount of members, like 20/50/100 that way it's also exclusive.

It will take effort and long hours on your end, but eventually you'll be earning enough so you can get a system in place to have it all done for you. Then it's smooth sailing from then on out. Just make sure the people adding articles are getting do-follow links and you don't put any other ads on those sites. Promote the people writing the articles and they'll love you for it.

to make money ud have write fresh cnotent
