Facebook is much better than Twitter. Believe it or not but twitter seems a lot slower than Facebook in many ways. Facebook is easier to promote and advertise.

 

FB and Twitter each have their own strengths. I believe that a combination of both FB and Twitter would create a very amazing site.

 

Facebook and Twitter both are the most popular and useful Social Media sites. But between them I like to use FB because it has some unique features and vast applications which are absent on Twitter.

 

I like Twitter more because I use it more often. That said, I don't utilize Twitter as much as I should. In reality, they're both great services to use and have their own strengths.

 

facebook is far far better than twitter. you can play games, socialize with older friends and even make new friends. chat and do anything you like. it is way better than just tweeting.

If you want traffic then you have to be on Facebook - after all it has 500 million members whereas a lot of people are still not using Twitter.

I always recommend making sure you have a strategy in place before launching into social media. That means being clear about your objectives, knowing who you want to reach and where they're hanging out online, the sort of content they're interested in etc. Once you've answered those questions and got a content plan in place you then need to decide how you're going to distribute it. That probably means a combination of Facebook, Twitter, your blog and any industry specific forums/sites plus if you're doing B2B marketing LinkedIn, Ecademy etc.

 

It's hard to think how Twitter could match up with Facebook. I am using both for promoting websites and I realize that Facebook is much more effective than Twitter.

IMHO the two are of different caliber...when it comes to functionality twitter is way far from facebook. There are lots of things you can do in facebook than in twitter.

 

For me it has been facebook. it is fb and it will continue to be fb.

Twitter has limited Functionality,not all people find it useful.

facebook and twitter are different social media, facebook is social networking, which is for networking with friends, it feature multimedia. twitter is microblogging, it is for publishing and broadcasting, interaction. I use facebook for connecting with personal friends,twitter for delivering my message to the world which is meant for business more than personal.
