    Hi
    Digital information products (software, domains, photos etc) or physical products (like antiques, crafts)?
    Digital products are easy, convenient as involve no shipping issues but are very competitive. Physical products are more troublesome but you can build larger clientele.
    From your experience, (all other things like personal attributes like enthusiasm and passion being constant), which is faster way to make money?

    All auction times being equal, neither one would be a 'faster' way to earn money. Sure things like ebooks would be easy to turn around quickly, but there are a million other people doing that already too. Some people sell ebooks for a buck or two, minus auction fees, and do so with thousands of listings at a time. Other people take time to develop unique sites and sell those. Others buy wholesale goods and sell those.
    THere is no 'fastest' wayto earn money; really it's more about whether doing X is worth the effort to get Y amount of money to you. Some people may like boxing things up and going to the post office every day, other people may like flipping websites. Whatever works for you and is most worth your time is the best way. Whenever starting on ebay, no matter what you sell it will take some time to create the best layout and text for your listings.

    ebay was good for business a few years ago now its really dried up..

    asian sellers have flooded it and you cna make good profit from it any more..

    I made a fair bit of $$$ on ebay when the market was willing to pay, now its full of bargin hunters lol

    digital items suck, their sno money to be made from them unless you have something that no one else has...ebooks, web design cds all that stuff sucks

    true their is probly money in sporting goods my cousin sells cricket stuff at a good mark up price.

    but software is not that crash hot theirs to many competitors, its only good if you ahve software no one else has and stuff that alot of people need and not mcuh supply of it :D

    Yep;) One can make a killing reselling sporting goods & accessories that are available at unbelievably low prices here in India.

    The key here is buying OEM software in bulk quantities & reselling them for near retail value. For example w/ WinXP it's possible to make $30+ each sale by doing this.

    If your virtual product(s) are undersold, or you have better quality than what is sold, then I would advise you sell virtual products. However to find a virtual product undersold is extremely rare on ebay. Also when using Paypal to receive payments you will take extra risk delivering virtual products rather than physical.

    my opinion is that ebooks have flooded the ebay market. Agree, they arnt any good to sell on ebay anymore.

    Grunt, from my experience, people flock in on ebay maily for electronic product or physical products for a good deal. As for books, Amazon remains the best bet. Softwares and domains can be sold but have't seen people beeing to enthusiastic for these stuff. Anyway, good luck for your venture.

    Domain names can sometimes yeild a nice profit. Just depends on the name and weather it has a custom site or not. I agree ebay is mostly dried up market and unless you have something really good. its probably already been sold 1000 times before you have tried.

    OEM software is generally sold under the condition that it not be resold but rather installed on PCs that are going to be sold.

    I think you have to sell unique items like antique or else if you are selling just another same electronics as others you will probably be buried in the pile of ebay junkyard.
