Social networking sites most useful for getting traffic

Now a days, Facebook, twitter, myspace, orkut etc.. are very useful for the getting traffic and twitter is the most useful for getting indexed in google. It's depend on you how you use those social networking sites. If you use those in systematically way then you can get the most traffic from those networking sites because of those sites are having more than 5 PR means you are working on high pr sites 5+. If you are using the blogs or forums or bookmarking etc.. are having more or less PR and it's effectiveness varies. What do you think on my thoughts? It's better to use social networking sites or other sites, isn't it?

Hi. I agree with you. The success of using any social networking sites depends on how you use it and how you approach the users. In a lot of social networking site users are interacting and communicating, so if you just make some extra effort to reach to them and gain their trust, chance are if you post something, the people that are around you and has been interacting with would help to spread about it. Sometimes, your reputation is what it makes it successful.

I also agree with you but you can diversify others site like forum posting and blog commenting.. and other so that many different people will come to your site

 

LinkedIn is also good social network to get relevant traffic back to your website/blog/online profile. Post relevant articles/news stories to relevant LinkedIn groups, and voilla - targeted traffic.
