    You need 100 articles per month and you will pay the writer $65. That is very generous. No, thanks!

    Why you writers are doing like this??!!!... Good writers are having probs due to this nonsense.You are a writer not a whole sale marketer. I am not telling that you are bad,but at least respect your writing skill.

    Regards

    @darknight2010:
    At the offered price, the Buyer will get content from writer's like earnbyblog. In spite, I would love the DP Administrator's to create a minimal offer rate for content creation service @DP. Or else it's often seen that, the buyer's tend to abuse the effort and hard work put in by seasoned pro writer's.

    Yes, a minimal offer rate would end the nonsense. It surprises me, because one of the moderators for DP has a popular blog berating sites like Demand Studios and advocating writers to "go for the big bucks", and what she says does make sense, and yet she does nothing to improve the situation here, one of the most dismal paying markets for writers on the internet. A bit hypocritical IMO, but she is also a busy woman, so I cannot judge her really. Could be she has little control over this problem.

    It's why I have no rating here at all. I don't write for pennies.

    Hey, James. I'm still going to use your services soon, but it is taking longer than I expected to prepare for it financially. Will get in touch with you by PM in another week to two weeks and we can do something on what I mentioned before. Hang in there.

    if they're short like 50-100 words per article, he will find writers for that rate including me @ $0.65/100 words article.

    Yes, no doubt, and eventually these buyers will be offering $0.25/100 words and you will write for that rate too when it becomes the standard low rate. What a minimum rate requirement would do is prevent that from happening. If buyers are forced to pay a minimum of $1/100 words, do you think there will be less buyers? These buyers are quite capable of affording that rate, they are just moving the rate further and further down, testing how far they can plunge it and still get people willing to write for a smaller amount.
    And yet these buyers still want high quality, perfect English, and so on...
    As soon as you writers quit accepting these low rates, they will start offering higher rates. That is how it works. The power is in the writers' hands here, not the buyers', but right now they are controlling the rate, not you.
    If all of you will ignore all offers less than $1/100 words, you will gain control of the market here, without a doubt. Then there will be higher pay for special writing assignments and so on.
    You can turn it around here quickly. Or you can do nothing and continue to earn less and less for more and more work. Choice is yours.
