    Ill give you a test order of 12 articles, if done good I have lots of regular bulk work.

    A test order with 12 articles is ridiculous. I mean, you test someone with an article or two but not twelve. I doubt you are serious, and if you are just screen the copywriter portfolio and then decide if he is the right choice or not.

    Based on his post, I assume that the "test articles" are simply a paid short term commitment to try you out. The OP asks for info and samples, so my assumption is that he wants to know your work load capability, experience with writing, and hourly rate. That, combined with your samples, will give him what he needs to decide if he wants to try you as a writer. At that point, you write 12 articles on the agreed upon rate and either end the working relationship there, or continue with the regular bulk work.

    It would be good if the OP would confirm that, but I believe that is what he/she meant to say. It doesn't read to me like the OP is asking you to write up 12 articles for free before you start getting actual work, if that is how you were seeing it.
