Hostgator sucks - why are you using their service?

Hostgator's issues have recently been to our attention - and we believe, webmasters who are currently using Hostgator need to watch out from their service.

So - has Hostgator ever moved your server without any permission from you? And also - if you see what Hostgator is doing - they're using spam bots to promote their "coupons" on twitter as well.

But, wait... Screw hostgator coupon codes, I don't need them. Why? Hostgator's service sucks, and quite frankly, we're sick of their hosting company - managing to succeed, and yet, turning their back on customers.

 

I already leave HG long time ago.

Expensive price + slow loading server.

How you know its they use twitter bot to promote the coupon?

 

Same repeated messages over and over - it's a bot if you look deeper into it.

 

It is really sad that you had bad experience dealing with them. There are many alternatives to them.. so, take your time to find the best one for your specific needs.

 

because they have a 100dll coupon for google adwords

 

I left them , they were very good in reseller and shared, have no latest experience with them. All my websites are at Shopaserver.comcheaper with same quality , I am saving the cost and enjoying the quality service.

 

Hostgator should rename themselves Hostgreater! Excellent service and support!

 

what could we expect from a "gator"??? nothing good probably. And my coupon didn't work. They lie , without saying lies, they say incomplete things, that is not exactly the truth.

 

I left HostGator like 2 years a go.
Good support staff but the servers are horrible.

 

So wait a second. Just because you have bad stuff with them, it means they suck for all? Bad loading times as others have said and bad support? My sites load faster than on other servers (using the same hosting plan for many) and their support is top top, I get replies in 20 seconds.

If your coupon doesn't work, it means you can't use it. Why did millions of us use them correctly? If you're talking about Adwords coupon, well, those are for Canada, USA and UK.

 

HostGator has been exceptional in my opinion. The customer service is amazing, they are always willing to go over and above.

 

My experience with Hostgator has been good. I've never had any problems with website loading. On two occasions I had technical problems, which were sorted out immediately through their live chat support. I find it strange that coupons were not working. Maybe they are expired ones. I used coupons and got a good rate.

 

I have found them ok the occasional slow load but excellent customer service and reasonably priced.

 

well i think it is unfortunate that u have gone through with this, specially with the company like HG.

 

My experience with HostGator has been good so far.
They transferred my website for free and they help me with my questions through their live support.
The servers are not that slow, at least not slower than any other hosting company with about the same size.
They know what they are doing and you can expect almost 100% uptime and protection since their servers are verry reliable
and their networks are verry well designed to prevent disasters.

 

Let me give one basic example about hostgator's trick

Vps hosting 15.96 $ (First month)
Dedicated Servers 139 $ (First month)
Reseller hosting 19.96 $ (Have they forgotten to write ? )

Simply to clarify it , i have sent many mails to them about this. And i have received no answer

I dont think so .... I have been using them for 2-3 years and they are just perfect . I dont know what problem you have :-S

 

Ive never had any problems with hostgator. There customer service is also phenomenal compared to other hosting companies.

 

I agree they are very good in support.
