How to know what blogs are "dofollow"

Discussion in 'General Business' started by Kanute, Jan 14, 2011.

    Hello,

    When trying to gather backlinks from blogs, we need to have our links on "dofollow" blogs. But how do we know which blogs are "nofollow", and which are "dofollow"?

    Appreciate your help.

    "dofollow" blogs are crawled by the Google. Use appropriate keywords while searching dofollow blogs.

    You can install the Firefox's free "NoDoFollow" plugin.

    1. Go to Firefox Add-Ons.
    2. Type in NoDoFollow Plugin.
    3. Download it.
    4. Install it.

    To use it, you find any website online.

    If you've got a PC, right click. This turns on pink and purple highlights. You do the same to turn off the highlights.

    If you've got a Mac, you can either go into your navigation bar in TOOLS and click the NoDoFollow on or off. Or you can hold down the control button, click the mouse, choose NoDoFollow.

    Pink = No Follow
    Purple = Do Follow

    When doing blog commenting, be sure to check which parts of the comment section are pink or purple. If the names are clickable and highlighted pink, it means you won't get link juice. If they're purple, you will.

    The same applies to forum signatures.

    Hi. You can use SEO Quake. You can add it as a Firefox Add-on. It's easy to use and pretty handy.

    If you are using Mozilla Firefox for browsing then it's too easy for you to identify Nofollow or Dofollow links on blogs. You simply need to search for "No do follow plugin for firefox" and open up the first link.

    Then follow the steps described on the page to install this plugin. In the final step Mozilla will ask for a restart and you need to click OK.

    When Browser reopens then you need to browse that blog or website where you want to check the links for dofollow or nofollow attribute. Right click anywhere on the page and select the nodofollow link from the popup sub menu.

    It will highlight nofollow links in red color and dofollow links in blue color.

    The installation process is only for one time. Then after whenever you want to check for the link attributes you only have to check the nodofollow oprion by right clicking on the page.
