    in your experience, do you think it converts better a fb fan page focused on a single niche or on different but similar niches?

    It's always good to get a strong following in one place, and then branch out, otherwise you might be spreading yourself too thin.

    In my experience i would said use one fan page for only one target niche and use another fan page to target other niche. It hard to combine all together which lead you hard to manage your fans need and want and hard to target them .

    One niche would make sense for me too but, a micro or a generic niche? Example on "get rid of nits": all focused around a specific and "popular" book/ebook or on more editors' alternatives about the same niche?:)

    I also agree with everyone else in here, An specific niche (Single) is better than multiple, just focus on single niche, Hope you will hit good amount of fans.. ;-)

    Yes that would really be a good idea of having one niche following with a fan page at a time. However I would really wanna have a try with niches in general having a common fan page. Now-a-days it is very difficult to get the fans to post something on the fan page wall. So it would be a better idea to have different niches under one roof, so you might get different comments and opinions from different people. In this case the users who dont comment regularly might also get attracted and come to show that they exist :D

    I think the concept would be evident if you see how variety could attract people that are not in your niche.
    Say, people could be feed up with your quotes and wants some humour every now and then.
