    Facebook is the king of all social networking sites we can not compare the Google Buzz with it. But we can promote in both these application for promotion or for voting etc.

    Do you still use google buzz? I stopped long ago. I have more than 3000 followers on G buzz. But I don't see any traffic when I post something.

    Forrester Research’s Augie Ray had this to say:

    “While bringing relevance filtering to the noisy social media world could prove a significant advantage, this doesn’t (yet) seem to be enough to pull people away from the networks they’ve already created elsewhere. Buzz doesn’t update user’s Twitter or Facebook feeds, so I expect experimentation but not wholesale switching in the foreseeable future. Buzz could end up supplementing rather than replacing users’ other social networks for now.”

    We agree with Forrester’s initial reaction: Google Buzz isn’t compelling enough to pull people away from Foursquare, Facebook or Twitter — at least, yet. Google is putting a lot of resources into this project, and it won’t give up the fight for social easily.

    Obviously not, Google is slowing realizing that making a big 'buzz' about its new feature google buzz has never helped them in anyway whatsoever. I am sure eventually at a later stage in the near future, google will stop this service too. IMO no one can overtake Facebook in the coming years. ;)

    Buzz is the weakest SM website right now. It can be a competitor for Facebook, Twitter or even Okrut. But it is useful to stay in touch with your friends if you use gmail.
