What kind of online business would you start with $10,000?

That's the only best answer i can vote for. Business is driven by passion and idea not money. So find out what makes to think beyond contemporary things, what makes you passionate about establishing your own business.

 

I heard it that for the first time in my life, that you don't need money for business. Hey friend what if I have passion and idea but no money, so how I'm going to apply it into business without money.

 

Being a member of DP i think you are well into IT related field. Have you ever heard that Internet giant Google or facebook or microsoft has became what they are today because of money. No it's their idea and passion that has created the history. Money comes there after.

Google started by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in a garage with couple of used computers. Facebook born in a hostel room where mark zuckerberg used to stay and if you see business tycoons from all over the world you will notice they have started with a little money.

And most important i have never said business without money, i have just put passion and desire first. So be responsible before commenting others

 

If I had $10,000 to invest, I would invest in a good established website that already has an income. That would probably be the wisest choice.

 

Hey that's a great topic and a wonderful discussion. If I have to invest $10,000, I would have chosen Forex. As forex is the largest financial market in the world. And in this Worldwide market something is always happening that changes the value of money.

 

A forum site. Then I would offer prizes to people who had over 100 posts. And I'd spend a lot of the money on marketing.

 

I wouldn't start a business, I'd buy one which is eastblished out.

 

I second what ForgottenCreature says. I would buy a current online business with opportunities to expand.

Research ready made high earning websites for sale and buy one that can prove income.

 

So, since this thread was started in 2005, and now I am finally jumping on the classic bandwagon.

If I had the 10,000 in 2005 . I would buy precious metals like gold & silver. Put them in a safe.

Now, since I am in 2012, I would go to my safe and retreive my gold and silver. Then I would sell it.
