Buying Need Writer with Excellent English - Good pay!

Hi,

I need a native US/Canadian English writer to write articles for me. Your English must be EXCELLENT, this is the most important factor. Please do not waste my time and your time, the first article will be a test article, if it is too bad, I will not use it and will not pay you.

Your article not only has to pass Copyscape, it has to have insights, essence and with correct grammar and sentence structure.

1) Niche:-
SEO, Internet Marketing, Social Media, Web Hosting, WordPress, Blogging, and related.

Payout: $10/600 words.

2) Niche:-
Adults

Payout: $4/500 words.

Please only serious writers need to reply.

Note:-
For our first article, we will just call it a test article. Since it is called a "test article", please understand that I will not pay you for it, if it is bad; and on the other hand, I will pay you only if it is good and I decided to hire you and use the article.

I wouldn't call this "good pay", but adequate, depending on whether you are asking for re-writes of articles you send the writer or you are requiring the writer to research and then compose completely original pieces. You see, many do not clarify this simple issue up front and then email after email is required to wrangle it out of them.

So perhaps you could make it clear what you are looking for.

Btw, asking to write a test article is not cool! For experienced writers, we have many articles available for you to browse and decide if we are the one for you. Many of us cringe when we are asked to give away material. I know you are claiming to only pay for the "good ones", but we don't know you from Adam. You might be farming articles from writers and then not hiring anyone at all. I am not saying you are doing this, but anyone who does this kind of things likely is.

If you can reply to these concerns, it might give me a reason to participate, but you would have to come up with a very convincing reply. I'm looking forward to hear it though.

The writer will need to research and then compose original pieces. Sometimes, for certain articles, I may provide references where the writer can get some of the info from, and may take some of the info and re-write them.

I know it is not cool at all. However, I have been spending a lot of time looking for good article writers who seems to be really good during communication (1). Every time when I thought, this has to be the perfect article writer, but when he/she actually submit me the article... the quality is so lousy, I don't even know how to advise him/her to amend it! But, I am kind of forced to pay him/her for that piece of junk because I have asked him/her to write! So, I learned from this and this time I have to make it clear, that I will ask to write a test article which I may/will not pay.

(1) I am tired of looking through these supposedly portfolios, some of them do look good, but I have no way to check if these are really written by him/her or the site is really his/hers! And most of the time, those are in other niches which has nothing to do with the websites I want to develop. So, test article is the best it seems.

How about upping your rate to attract quality writers in the beginning instead of paying three or four not-so-good people to do, do over and do again, which ends up costing you just as much or more as a good writer to start with?

You're only going to attract low-end writers struggling for work and grabbing any kind of "gig" they can with this stipulation. Good writers wouldn't think twice about providing a "sample" on spec for such a low paying gig.

No, you just expect people to work for free to land a gig that's more trouble than it's worth.

 

Thank you for your advise. Of course we want to get the most out of what we pay. I have already upped my rate, and as you can see my rate is higher than the general rate here, which is like $0.75 to $1 per 100 words. I still hope that I can find a good writer with the rate I am paying. If I failed, I can consider to raise my rate slightly higher, but definitely not immediately jump to $5 for 100 words!

As I said, my rate is already higher than most general rates here. I do not expect EXCELLENT writes to write for me at this rate, but I do hope I can get good writers.

I see you've changed the rate in your offer. That's closer to what you would need to pay to get a good writer. You say now that you only need a good writer, not excellent, but your offer says:

Maybe you want to think about who you are really trying to attract. Asking us to write a paragraph or two should be enough to see what the level of writing is, as opposed to a full article. As a couple of us have indicated, this raises suspicion in the minds of skilled writers. I would never write an article for free. This is a business, not a lottery. Business requires risk and writers already have enough risk with clients who do not communicate, gloss over significant questions, and try to skip out on paying.

You have replied to each point very well, and I appreciate that. If you would settle on a couple of paragraphs, then I am game. The price is not what I usually work for, but I've had such bad luck with clients lately who do not communicate, that I am willing to give it a go and see how the work is with you. PM me if you want to proceed this way. If I hear nothing, then I'll assume you really are an article harvester as Senobia has implied.

I have not changed the rate in my offer (in this thread). I have not edited the rate. What I meant is that I have raised the rate which I offered previously in previous postings or which I offered in other places previously.

I said the English must be EXCELLENT, but other than English, there are other factors which determines if a writer is excellent, great, good, etc... for example, if he is knowledgeable in the niche we want to write article in?

Anyway, from your writings, I can see that your English is really great. I would like to proceed with you, what do you say? Will give you a PM.

Senobia is a serious writer's rights activist and I respect her in holding strong since I met her via DP. It's true - if you want an excellent writer, DO jump right into $5 per 100 words. If you paid me 5 cents a word, that'd be a good start. .20-.40 PER WORD is about standard in magazines and trade journals. I'm about ready to stop writing for DP altogether, start writing 25-30 queries every two days, then wait the few months it takes to get acceptance letters. From that point on, I'll be making literally ten to twenty times the standard price on this poverty-stricken forum...

PM me if you want samples of my writing - I will not write you a new article (whether you say you're harvesting or not) and I will not pretend to bend over backwards for you. Deadlines, quality content, immaculate spelling and grammar: these are all things that GOOD freelance writers wouldn't compromise on - why is it OK for Webmasters to compromise the freelance writer salary standard? We need 30% MORE money than typical jobs b/c we need to afford our own insurance and etc's... I guess if you're taking the underground to New Dehli for 2 rupees then yeah, $5 for 100 words could sound nuts. Nuts to you.

US/UK natives have been bombarded since birth in the marketing of their native language and it ultimately makes us INCREDIBLY awesome writers when compared to ESL students. Even when compared with my peers I've always been considered a prodigious writer. Well... Pay up, piper. It's time to see rate change on DP
