It takes time to build Traffic, but these are the task I complete everyday.
Because of this, I get over 9K Unique Visitors to my websites every month,
which build my subscribers list, drive more sales and create JV Partners

google is my #1 traffic generation source.

 

#4 Paid Advertising on High Traffic Websites of my keyword.

 

I use a bunch of strategies to generate traffic. The main ones amongst them are Social Bookmarking, Forum Posting and Blog Commenting.

 

I would say that #3 Social Media Marketing, and Link Building.

 

Twitter & Facebook is best option for generate traffic.

I'd say we get an even amount of traffic from featured posts on niche blogs, and from backlinks on forums (mostly ad posts) -- those combined are probably about 50-60% of traffic. Search engines contribute another decent percentage.

 

For us (travel websites) it's google organic with about 60 percent of traffic; facebook 10 percent, paid ads about 10 percent, and the remaining 20 percent - forums, returning customers, etc.

 

forgot to mention, about 70 percent of our activities are to build unique content - and target organic google traffic long term; will see if it pans out

 

What about a guide to buy traffic ?

 

My favorite traffic method is Organic SEO.

After that I use many systems:
* Forums
* Newsletter
* Docstoc (and similar service)
* Create pdf by mixing 3 - 4 articles

 

My number one traffic generating sources are social media and search engine optimization.

 

Google is for older website. If your site is new, it's hard to get traffic from Google, unless if you're SEO guru and you target the right keyword.

Use PPC, it's fast and easy. Normally, you need to pay per ad clicked, but I know how to do PPC for completely FREE.

Same here none of those in the OP is even close to my top 10 traffic source

 

Great list, I will try and use some of your ideas. Google is my #1 source of traffic. I even rank #4 on Yahoo for one of my keywords, but have not gotten any traffic from Yahoo. Surprisingly, I have received organic traffic from Yandex!

 

I mainly use facebook ads and google adwords

 

I am still searching for traffic source :/
