    If Aubrey de Grey's predictions are right, the first person who will live to see their 150th birthday has already been born. And the first person to live for 1,000 years could be less than 20 years younger.

    A biomedical gerontologist and chief scientist of a foundation dedicated to longevity research, de Grey reckons that within his own lifetime doctors could have all the tools they need to 'cure' aging - banishing diseases that come with it and extending life indefinitely.

    No I most certainly do not.Even though I am only 31 I feel that I have been alive for 400 years.My life has been tough and I don't want it to go on forever.I am successful and have $$$ and I think I'm pretty and all that but.........I have yet to experience love of any sort except the love of friends which I do have.

    It would be great to live for longer then the average life span at the age of around 20 but besides that I would not like to actually live forever. Everyone goes through so much in there life and all the built up for thousands of years would just be hell on your mind. Another thing is that if aging was "cured" as you say the Earth would be pretty much screwed to say the least due to mass overpopulation within just a few years.

    No thanks. I'm fine with dying and the concept of death. Plus the majority of humanity doesn't really contribute into making a difference in our society. We'd just be taking up space.

    Even so, the chances of people remembering their earliest memories is slim to none if you factor anyone over 90. Human brains can only hold so many memories. It's not that older people get senile (well, probably), it's that our mind has only a certain limit.

    Live forever is not a good idea, guys. Forever is forever. Let's say 5000 years. If each of your wives can only live for 60 years, then you will marry more than 50 times! I think the most reasonable cause of your death is HIV. lol
