Facebook or Google+ Which one do you like and why?

Which do you prefer google+ or facebook?

I think facebook is great for the average joe. I personally like it better because all my friends use it.

Google+ I also like it but for a different reason. I think if you own a website you will like google+ more because it will help you get more target visitors to your site. For example I got a friend on google+ to +1 my site. And now if I google the term I am on the first page. I think it is great for companies.

Overall to be honest I like facebook because it really is the best social network. However, google+1 is like a social network for web site owners. I personally believe google+ will work better if it is synced with facbook's "recommend" button. But, that is me.

What do you guys think?

Google+ is still obviously very young. At this point, I agree that Facebook would probably be preferred over Google+ by the average joe. It's simple and straight forward. This is not to say that Google+ is difficult to use but the idea of circles, etc may not be immediately obvious and could be off putting....or maybe create intrigue...

 

Some of features are really good in Google+ like circles and hangout but not everyone is familiar with it at this time. Although Google+ is gaining popularity very fast but it requires years to beat Facebook. Another reason why Facebook is still preferable for most of individuals and companies is the money they spent on facebook. No one, either individual or company, wants to loose hundreds or thousands of friends and fans by moving another social networking site.

 

It's weird that Google+ isn't featured on their homepage like Google Maps or Gmail.

 

I think that is because it is still in beta and it requires invites to join.

 

I'm on Google+ pretty much since they started it and I definetly see the advantages but I am missing features like company pages and it's getting a bit spammy right now-. So I'll stick with facebook for some time atleast.

 

Facebook, probably because i'm used to it, Google+ is still too new

Definitely Facebook. I haven;t even tried Google+ yet.

 

Just like I love Google for its Search Engine, that way I love Facebook for the networking site.

I have been using Google+ since the day Google launched it privately... I got the invite directly from Google (Not from Google exactly, but one of my friends work there) and I am impressed with the service. However, Facebook is still my favorite. I have no reasons why should I stop using it...would recommend Google+ to do more to release the dependency of users over Facebook.

Google+ is a new baby in the school and Facebook is pretty mature social network with 770 million registered users!  I think this is not the right time to compare Facebook and Google+. Google + will take some time and when it gets matured then it will be good to see which one is better. Google is currently adding new "start up" teams to Google+ project to make it look like a social network and add some new features. 

 

I like FB more that Google+. may be I just get used to FB, but it is really comfortable site. but we shouldn't forget that FB was created 7 years ago and Google+ is "newborn" networking)))let's see

I prefer Facebook but be fair enough Google+ is just starting.

 

I haven't tried out Google+, been a facebook user for a year and half but I won't get online for a chat

 

Currently I use Facebook to connect with my friends and to do some PPC campaigns.
For professional networking I adore Google+. Every early adopter is there and most of them are great people to know.

Also, hangouts are pretty cool, been using them a lot with some of my friends.
