Do you ever feel lonely?

I live alone also but do have a fair number of friends.But as to you not having many friends,sometimes you need to be your own best friend.Appreciate who you are,learn to love yourself and it will radiate outwardly and you will become magnetic.
I unlike you have a bad temper.It causes me grief in my life,I am trying though to control it lately.

 

I always busy in my work, so i dont feel alone.

Work is very good for combating lonliness and for many other things too.Work is good for you psychologicaly,emotionaly,financialy and also for an overall feeling of security.

 

I also feel lonely.i have less friends.

I've been lonely for a long time. My last name should be lonely. I kinda understand that sometimes it can be depressing if you're being alone all the time. But now I'm spending more time with my friends to fill the void.

You need to make more friends,don't be shy or let the fear of rejection stop you.Go ahead and ask someone if they would like to go out for a tea or cofffee.Do this and you will make a new friend and put an end to lonliness.

It's good that because of all of these people in your life you don't feel lonely,consider yourself lucky.

Spending more time with friends is a solution to lonliness.Don't give in to depression because it can take you down and suck you into a void of despair...always fight it!

You have demonstrated with your post that you are very close to your friend.Some people do not even have one close friend,at least you do.[o]

At least you only feel lonely sometimes as opposed to feeling lonely all the time.There is a positive there somewhere if you look for it.

We are alike in this as I too never feel lonliness.But for me it is because I really don't like people,so why would I miss them?

 

Sometimes I prefer to be a loner, it depends on the situation tho. No one can really understand you but yourself.

In order to successfully live alone one cannot be prone to either lonliness or depression.Also what is required is a large measure of self confidence.Being a loner means never being disappointed by having to rely on others.

 

True, its hard to live alone! Having a nice company to be with makes life different. No one can live alone, but there are times we need to contemplate with ourselves. *I'm assuming that what you mean by "lonely" in OP is not being sad*.

You mentioned,"No one can live alone" on this we will have to agree to disagree.I know many people who live alone,one of my friends is a 66 year old woman who has lived alone for 25 years.I live alone,have for quite some time and intend to stay that way.
Some people live alone by choice,others by circumstance.Seniors who have lost their loved ones due to old age are primary examples.Many people do live alone and do quite well on their own.

 

Now a days its very difficult to make good friends.Only lucky people have good friends.

Think on this,there may be someone out there who is lonely too and would like to make a good friend.But that person is too shy to try and find that friend.I say to you find that person and the both of you will be the better for it........that friend is out there waiting for you.[o]
