    It's difficult to answer this question with any degree of certainty.We do not know sometimes because of the avatars used wether we are dealing with a male or a female.I agreed to webcam this very nice "woman" on here about 6 weeks ago.We just were hitting it off,imagine my surprise when this woman turned out to be a man! Now I take nothing for granted:) The subject of gender just never came up and I just presumed.
    In "Introductions" it does seem most of the newcomers here are male.In "Politics and Religion" forum it's a very heavy male presence.The ratio in "General Chat" does seem a bit more balanced.I believe the disgusting language used in "Politics and Religion" keeps the women away.People are way more polite in "General Chat".

    I thought it was about 50-50, but after reading this thread...maybe not?..  Don't like to admit it, but there is some truth to boys being more in to taking decisions and actions where girls are more hesitant (and analyzing, remember?..)

    There are several members of this forum and there are only few girls. So, the real percentage of girls is gonna be less than 5% or may be around 2%. Rest 95% are boys. :)

    I think that we will never know correct gender statistics at DP!
    And it's cool and intrigues at the same time! But it seems to me that girls are more numerous here, because of polite replies and intelligent threads:p.
