From 26th october onwards, it isn't possible to list anything on eBay if you have your feedback private. I'm a powerseller on ebay & have received a couple of negative ratings over the past 3 months which are visible in my feedback history, now everyone viewing my listings will be viewing that negative feedback as well:(

I dont believe in private feedback. I think its a farce that ebay should never have implemented.
If Im buying from someone, I want to see their feedback. I always figure if feedback is private, then they are hiding something and I dont buy from them.

If you have neg feedback, then people should be able to see it. And honestly, if you are a powerseller and only have a few negatives, most people will ignore this.

I would never bid on auctions where the seller had private feedback on the assumption it was really bad. A small percentage of negatives, especially if there is an explination, is not a problem.

Good move by Ebay. If someone has something to hide then they shouldn't be doing business at all.

that is the problem with feedback, sometimes is something going out of our hands, such as delivery times, while others is just buyer's "revenge" for whatever you can name.

If you are a powerseller work on promoting your trustability with facts.
