    I have seen several now that are not the normal size they are a square rather than rectangular. They offer a special offer of some sort on the back of the card. Like a promotional card. I have now switched to these as they fit in someone’s wallet or pocket easily and they become advertising for your business.

    If you put a tracking code on each one that the customer can use to redeem that offer you can then measure if they use the card. It also makes the card more valuable than just a contact card end they may be more likely to keep it.

    I know a business card is meant to be just a contact card, but anything in business to get people thinking about your business is good.

    @drig,

    The disadvantage of metal cards is that the colours are limited and it gets a lot of fingerprint stains.

    Yet is can be great for some types of business, such as engineering.
