I'm making $900+/day on my Tumblr site, can someone tell me how much it's worth?

    Hi,
First of all, I am new so please forgive me if this is in the wrong section, I went through every single section of the forum to find the best place to post this and couldn't find one that felt perfect. If you know of a better place to post this please let me know.

I am not comfortable revealing the domain name yet of my blog, but I will give you every piece of relevant information I can think of. I am hoping someone can tell me how much I would be able to sell the site for if I were to sell it today.

    The details:
The site is hosted on its own domain through Godaddy. It has a PR5, gets between 50k-60k unique visitors daily, and its Alexa ranking is 61,000 (it will be in the low 50s when Alexa updates again, maybe high 40s). The site makes between $800-$1,100/day using Adsense and an ad service that pays users to post links on social networking sites (80% of the revenue is from Adsense).

The site has eleven Tumblr blogs hosted on it and about 650,000 total followers. Only 6 of those blogs are active though at the moment. The site takes about 3-4 hours per day to maintain. I am also paying someone $1,500 to blog on two of the blogs, and another person blogs on one of them for free, in exchange for some free publicity. Also, I had an arrangement with another person to blog on a 4th blog, for free publicity, which just recently ended but can be restarted at any time.

There is no advertising costs, the only costs are for paying one person $1,500/month to blog, $10/year for domain registration.

The site is about a year old and has grown fantastically since I started it. Revenue has grown every single month I've had it, including increases of $5,000/month for each of the past three months, with the same growth expected for this month also. This is all without spending a dime for advertising or marketing.

These are all of the details I can think of. I am just trying to get an idea of how much I might be able to get if I were to sell the site, because I am contemplating letting it go. Thank you for your help.

I would recommend posting your domain at flippa or other auction site for best price estimation...would you mind to share the name of domain by PM?

I am not wanting to jump into selling it, I also posted this thread at another forum and most answers were along the lines of that it would receive 10-12 months worth of revenue ($325k), which would not be something I'm willing to sell for as it has grown magnificently and I anticipate that it will continue to do so. Regarding sharing the domain by PM, I would prefer to do so only for those who think they can present me with an offer which would reach the value that the site has to me personally, which would likely be around 3 years worth of current monthly income.

What ad service that pays users to post links on social networking sites?

That my friend is a secret I will have to keep with me, it wouldn't be good for my business if users began seeing a pile of other Tumblr blogs posting these links. It's a pretty big ad service though, and it specializes entirely in advertising through social marketing.

If you can replicate the revenue on a new site i would say yes sell it but why on earth would you want to sell it other wise if its brining in so much money,

That would be why I would consider selling it, because I can slowly build another blog and make it as successful. The first thing I'd do with the money I received for this blog would be to put a small amount into marketing in order to give me a quickstart. Once I get to a certain point with followers, I can take it the rest of the way without needing to spend another dime on marketing.

Hang on to that mate, don't give it up for a one time fee, you see the revenue it's bringing, it would be a bloody mistake to sell it!
Success is hard to come by, and you have found it, godspeed on your site!

With the money I'm sure you'd get for this site you'd get a pretty decent quickstart, although I highly doubt you would find the right buyer on digital point you could try flippa.

You potentially have a 6-figure website on your hands.

I would of course need to see it to give an accurate appraisal.
