    at your requests, we added oron.com to the remote upload page http://turbobit.net/upload/site. Now you can upload files even easier than before!

    We'd also like to inform you that 20807 partners currently have the Gold status. Of them 613 partners have Gold Poster status (they receive +5% to their earnings), 332 have Gold Master status (+10%), 221 have Gold Admin status (+15%) and 7 partners already have Gold Hero status (+20%).     Problems with the statistics will be fixed today!

    Dear partners,

    this year Russia has canceled the "winter" time, so a night from 29 to 30 October we didn't turn our clocks one hour backward. Our server has Moscow time and although we have been preparing to this date since early October, unfortunately, the tests couldn't reveal all problems.

    FreeBSD system service Cron didn't not pick up changes in the system and decided to turn its clocks. We are not the only ones who suffered from this unexpected behavior.

    In its turn this behavior resulted the shutdown of the script which is recalculating the statistics.

    We apologize for this problem and want to reassure everybody: all statistics have been saved and they will be available in your accounts tonight!

    How to upload files from depositfiles at a higher speed

    we have found a feature at depositfiles which will help you to increase the speed of uploading files from their servers to ours.

    Depositfiles limits the download speed through its gold links lately if a link has been generated at one computer but the download comes from the other one.

    Therefore to increase the upload speed from depositfiles to our sites, we recommend you to put a regular link (like this http://www.depositfiles.com/files/fgbhm05pt) to the form of the remote upload http://turbobit.net/upload/site and enter your login and password of your gold account at depositfiles. In this case we are generating a gold link ourself and the upload speed will be higher.

    The long-awaited innovation: tracking of deleted files!

    Dear partners,

    now there is "Deleted files" folder in the My Files section http://turbobit.net/user/files In this folder you can see a list of deleted files and the reasons for their deletion. The folder contains information for the last 21 days. In the nearest future we will also add the ability to restore files automatically (there will be a search for "alive" files with the same MD5) and the possibility to re-upload files to the server.

    A new feature coming soon: copying of other users' files

    Dear partners,

    we'd like to say that we will soon add to our sites the ability to copy other users' files to your account. Copying will be available not only within turbobit.net and hitfile.net but also between them.

    Optionally, you can enable or disable copying of all your files or each file individually.

    An author of a file, that is the one who first uploaded the file to our servers, will receive 10% of profits for downloads and purchases received from each copy of a file. In the same time, a person who copied the file will receive the remaining 90% of the profits. All copies will always be tied to the original.

    that was a mistake that u limited the free users download speed and added 600 seconds waiting limit.
    also u added ranks, coins and a lot of bad thing.
    so i quited turbobit even if u add TB to TB upload its useless.
    u have to start with a different name because people always think that TB is bad :/

    1. the download speed limit for free users always existed.
    2. about 600 seconds of waiting (from the FAQ http://turbobit.net/faq):
    turbobit.net aims at providing quality service to all users from all regions worldwide independent of the file size, of download time, or of the user’s browser or other settings.

    To do this, we use Dynamic Download Splitting which helps us provide an equal download opportunity to all free users notwithstanding the file size. Turbo Users have the priority in download speed; other users are placed in a queue if they have same IP; first come first served.

    The time you have to wait in line (the time specified in the message you receive from the Service, e. g. try again in 300 seconds) depends on several different things such as popularity of the file, the load of the server turbobit.net in you net zone, the time of the day etc, but the main factor is the file size.

    The bigger the file you downloaded the last time before you requested the latest file from the same IP the longer you will have to wait. To reduce your waiting time, we recommend downloading small files first.

    You may also change your IP and try downloading the file again, since it is your particular IP that reaches the connection limit.

    Almost our partners are happy with all this. As we don't reduce your income, we just give you an opportunity to earn more money.
