for earnig the money you need to increase traffic, and for increaing the traffic you can go either with seo technique or you can use Pay Per Click (PPC) and post your ads in different websites.

 

You can increase your site's traffic by doing an e-mail campaign.

 

you must have good backlink from other site or makes a lot of articles and trackback. with keyword no for robot but must be for human...

 

you must go with blog post for your link to be pasted in some other's websites for backlink.....

Well as you said earlier in thread you want to increase your business than i must say traffic should be relevant so that you can generate your business leads!

 

I do some blog commenting, posting topic on some forum site with signature included and use the power of social media.

 

i would start off by writing one article per day, and submitting it to ezine articles or article base directories.

 

You need "Targeted traffic" before to make sales, in fact QUALITY traffic is better than GENERAL traffic. Otherwise you will waste money & time.

 

Website traffic can be increased by using different tactics. Usually you can either spend money or spend time in order to get more people coming to your site.
