    Always gonna be trolls.

Anyways I've been checking out that "Ancient Aliens" series. For those who haven't seen it, I won't give spoilers about how it ties in with this thread.

Well religion is a very sensitive discussion, because many people grew up believing in a god all mightly up above in the clouds, but for a religious individual to find out all their beliefs are a lie ,can be very devastating, critics are now arguing that religion instead of an institution, has become a business.
but the issue here is not to believe or not to believe the issue is that religion has become a habit for many who have lived in religion their hole lives , just following in the familys tradition.

why don't we define what a god is. For example , I can say that I am a God ( I even created, sustained and destroyed a mini-universe some time ago ) . Therefore, God exists, since I surely do exist. All what is left for you to do is to agree with my definition of "god". Hell, I'll even wave your 10% tax for that.

Who created the fart I am trying to suppress right now?
--God? Me? You? Bacteria up my ass ? My cook? My grocer?

Besides, even if the Universe, did have a creator, it doesn't mean the creator is still alive. Also, you are missing a major hop from creator to Jehova/ancient Jewish deity. There are 30 000 recorded deities, many of which had created this universe. Just so u know.

I created this world when I came into existence. Before me, nothing existed, well even nothing didn't exist, I made it up.

well, the difference between many recorded "deities" and the Jesus account is that there is more evidence for Jesus and what the bible says. the bible is a collection of books. each book is an independent source.

the gospels we have are four different accounts of the life of Jesus. one would have to think that the gospel writers were conspiring to fool people in what they had said about the person who was Jesus of Nazareth. what were their motives to create such books if they are supposed to be fictitious? ...I don't know..., but I mean power and control are weak responses! they didn't live long enough except John who was the longest living apostle. in the contrary to power; such writings, and teachings brought persecution to the apostles and many were martyrs for proclaiming what to them was an undoubted event. I for one trust the gospel writings along with the other books which constitute the bible because, I read it, and compare it to reality. it does make perfect harmony.

deeply thinking about this, doing the research for the veracity of the gospels will lead you to the the truth that Jesus is true and is God. Still....this is just one argument of many more for the existence of God.

Gerinja if you're applying religious logic to the debate then there is no better proof to the existence of God than the book that God DIRECTLY wrote himself and that is the Quran. Yes, can you beat that really? Mahomet couldn't write very well or at all and yet the Quran has been revealed to him directly from God.
This is what wikipedia has to say about it:
"Muslims believe the Quran to be verbally revealed through angel Jibrīl (Gabriel) from God to Muhammad gradually over a period of approximately 23 years beginning in 610 CE, when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632 CE, the year of his death. Muslims further believe that the Qur'an was precisely memorized, recited and exactly written down by Muhammad's companions (Sahaba) after each revelation was dictated by him."
    And also:
"Muslims believe that the Quran is different from all other books in ways that are impossible for any other book to be, such that similar texts cannot be written by humans. These include both mundane and miraculous claims. The Quran itself challenges any who disagree with its divine origin to produce a text of a miraculous nature.
Scholars of Islam believe that its poetic form is unique and of a fashion that cannot be written by humans. They also claim it contains accurate prophecy and that no other book does."

That's what the islam religion preaches, so if you're going to apply religious logic to the debate, then christians really can't beat the muslims.. Better organize this debate in a psychiatric hospital in my opinion.. :)

Sounds more like the back of your hand that's a little darker in skin color than the palm of that hand. But it's still the same hand you're looking at..
