mean nothing if you don't have someone or anyone to share them with.

Do you agree or disagree? and why? Feel free to make your choice and then give a short explanation of why you made your choice. This should be very interesting

Ok, I'll go first. I agree because my life experiences have enlightened me on this subject. I have been dealing with the public for a very long time, especially one on one in customers houses. I have found out that the older generation of people can really teach us a lot about ourselves if we pay attention to them. I have learned that the two most important assets or things to have in life are your Health and Someone to share your life with. I have found out that very wealthy people who have all of the money they need or could ever want are miserable because they are alone. I just can't see myself being happy with an unlimited amount of money without being able to share it with someone, therefore my closest friends, and family are far more important to me than money.

I'm on the fences with this one. I think there is a balance that you need to satisfy. Family can mean everything to most people and someone can equivocate the meaning of belonging to that of money.. It depends on the person and their associations and values. They might just be happy with that. Who am I to draw that line? I do agree sharing and money both have tremendous value but that doesn't mean you need one or the other. In-fact, the old saying "money is a measure of the value you have contributed to the world". So It could be a vehicle to contribution. It may seem I'm getting a bit too off track but the reason is: justifying either extreme can be fatal - in life balance is key.

Thank you for your interesting reply. I agree a balance is needed, money for necessities and someone to share your life with. On the other hand if you had a choice between an over abundance of money vs. a special someone to share your life with, which would you choose? I know that I would choose to have someone who cared about me in my life vs. being Rich with money. I guess I'm saying that the importance for me lies in having someone to share my life with vs. having all the money I could ever want or need in life.

Lol, this is where the elderly wisdom comes in because when we are young, we don't think about or even realize how important a significant other is to us until we get older. I'm still young myself but sometimes I like to put myself in other peoples shoes when watching and listening to them. I also have a friend who is in his early forty's, he's been married and divorced three times however he has a lot of money. He has to be one of the most unhappy and miserable people on the planet. I especially feel sorry for him during the Holiday's because he has no one. He lives in a bigger U.S. city by himself and has no friends or family anywhere near his location.

Why can't we have both? :p Yeah I mean the value added to ones live through companionship will always triumph any materialistic or monetary worth. no matter how large. (do I still get to keep half of all the riches and money in the world? lol)
