How do you store passwords of different sites on your PC?

I use different passwords for different websites. So, I store all my passwords in a .txt file then .rar it with a password. This is the easiest and noobiest method I'm using to store passwords. Some people use password managers to store their passwords. Is there any good method you suggest me to store passwords? Thanks.

I think the way you're doing it is the fastest one since you only have top open the rar file to see them.
Installing softwares just for storing some passwords just seems to be unnecessary.

I store all my 100 odd passwords in a text file and zip with with a password. Then I also write the important 40 odd ones down in my journal offline. This way I cover most of the passwords I use on a daily basis.
