Which is Better Facebook or Twitter

I was just wondering which is better facebook or twitter all of my friends say that facebook is mostly for chat and not for business They said that twitter is better because it helps you if you have a business somehow

 

i like facebook rather then twitter. Most of my friends use facebook.

 

I think it depends on the type of product that you want to market.If you need to sell brands, or something that involves more of public relations and presence than Facebook will work good.
On the other hand twitter works good when you market fast moving products like coupons, discount cards, etc.
So both have there own importance depending on the type of products/services you want to market.

yes you are right. i am in my facebook account about 8 hours in a day. new facebok timeline option is also attracting.

 

Personal or business pursuits, I think Facebook is more better than with Tweeter.

 

I think I prefer Facebook. I never had a luck on Twitter though. i have 2,000 followers and they just hanging there. nothing happens with my online business. and yes, i heard so many negative stories about Twitter. most of them are Hoax. - fake profiles.

Facebook pages are very handy way to promote your website.
From experience twitter usage for promotion takes a lot of time and is not that effective.

I prefer Facebook especially their Fan pages. You can build your brand / websites about fan page and can get good traffic. Also millions of people are there on facebook and you can take advantage of viral marketing.
