    I'll make it short...

Got an infraction for ''insulting'' a mod which i never did, said to the mod who give the infraction ''i never insult anyone and this is a complete joke'', result perm ban...

Seriously how in hell can they let people like that moderate a forum ??

I really do not understand why these moderators on such forums do not understand that we are people too. Yes, sometimes we break the rules but do not ban someone just because you have the power to do so. There are many people who make a living on these forums and more still who visit because it a long standing habit of theirs. Banning someone shows how weak these mods are in their heads and how shallow their characters really are.

Lol... You are right. There are few forums where mods give you infraction and warn you not to do the thing again. And when you only say it that you don't care about infractions they Ban you. :D

Only one mod I like is mjtaylor. She is always very nice and tries to help.
I don't blame the other mods for acting like assholes. The admin makes them edit even the thread titles. That's hell of a lot of work they do for free. But then again I feel for the mods and admin too. They are trying to run the community smoothly and in this day when you get spam from all around right left and center it is rather difficult to run a forum smoothly.

PM me your username on there and i'll look into this. We don't want you spreading false rumors around here now do we? Now if you are the username that i just found on v7n forum with the URL in your signature on here then that person was banned for duplicate accounts. We don't ban people for insulting moderators. Yea, you'll get an infraction but you could of let it go afterwards and move on. Moderators do get cranky once and awhile. We see the same stuff over and over again.

There is a lot we do behind the scene's that you never know about. PM me your username and i'll give you a answer or if you want your banned over turned then use the contact link on the v7n forum and send a email to our admin. She has over turned ban's before. I don't visit here much so i may not respond again in this thread.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope everyone gave you REP for this.

It takes a lot to get banned on a large webmaster forum. Just like the regular members, most of the mod's make a living online also. They know how much a forum can help ones business out.

Just like DP forum, get to many infractions and you get some ban time. Have multiple accounts, you get banned. Following the rules on a forum and not mouthing off will keep you safe. Also, i think we moderators are nicer then most moderators on other webmaster forum's. (Hint, a DP moderator can infract me for this comment)

    *rolls eyes*

    Thanks for the kind words.

I don't know your real username on v7n so i can not comment why you was banned and complaining on here but if you would try to create a thread in our marketplace selling "Angela - Paul Backlinks Service" you'd get an infraction or a warning for breaking out marketplace rules. We dont' allow that type of service.

We are not assholes but thanks for calling me one. I've been called worse by my real friends. Cricket the admin does not make us edit the thread titles, we make modifications to the rules for certain sections and make edits when needed to the titles. Each webmaster forum has there own rules on how they moderate the forum. Our admin doesn't force us to do anything. In fact, she is to nice at times but we love her.

The mods at v7n are alright but the discussions are boring and not much interesting business goes on there. Also what's up with the domain name?

Oddly the chinasa ID is not banned over there (at least, not yet), so it must've been one of your OTHER IDs there.

So much for the "for no good reason" part, eh? :p

I really respect Snakeair and Mjtaylor. But the other mods are totally rude and cruel. Once I get a green reputation on my last post and in the next day I get banned without posting nothing. And the reason for banned was... "No reason specified"
    LOL :p

I'll tell you a secret you could only learn by reading the guidelines, and lord knows some have never done that.

Here are the most common reasons we ban IDs:
    .
    Speed posting:
if you post 10 times in 10 minutes, it is physically impossible for you to be reading the opening post, perusing the answers, formulating your response, etc. You're posting at us, not conversing with other members. Bottom line, if you only post for count, you add nothing to the forum.

    Puppet shows:
two or more IDs that are owned by the same individual or group start grading their own homework in WTS threads... praising the product, integrity, hairstyle, etc while pretending to be 3rd parties that are just fans.

    Veiled self promo:
"I found this really neat site today... Let me tell you about it!" Seriously... Do you think you invented this retarded tactic? Grow up you moron.

    Open self promo:
"hi, I'm new here. Sure the guidelines prohibit this, but I shall now proceed to dump my URL into every thread because rules are for little people." [hint- nobody cares... Buzz off]

    Dup IDs:
they're against the guidelines. Period. If you can't get by without more, that's your problem, but don't complain if you're banned for it.

Note: this may come as a shock, but creating a new ID does NOT give you a clean slate to start anew... It just means a banned member broke the rules by creating yet another ID.

    Fake location:
    They tend to be used...
    • - to assist in puppet shows
    • - give someone the false idea they could rely on legal recourse not available at your true location
    • - shield the fact you're at a location known for people, well, like YOU
it doesn't really matter WHY they're against the rules, what matters is as soon as it's detected, you'll be banished back to facebook to play fantasy profile games to your little hearts content.

    Idiot threads:
An SEO starts a thread that begins "what is {insert basic SEO concept} and how can it help my website." The thread is not started because they have a question, it is started because they are in the habit of littering the forum with this trash for keyword value.

offering services or links that aren't allowed
If you're posting adult links where they aren't allowed or offering xrumer spam services, you're too stupid to have a login. Might want to read the guidelines before starting at your next place.

    Serial profile building:
accepting money to create hundreds of fake profiles may help your pocketbook, but frankly we don't gives a rats rear. You will be banned for it.
    .
    If you were banned...
there's a good chance you were involved in one or more of these. If that's the case, what you don't know is that almost NOBODY misses you, and the few that notice your absence at all are glad you're gone.

So keep posting here about your bans...
I want it to be known LOTS are banned for these things. I'm one of the merciless SOBs that hits the button with a smile, and the forum convos there are better as a result. I've cleaned stuff outta stalls smarter than guys that use the tactics above.

Thanks for the acknowledgement of the job well done. :)

Sorry, missed that comment. As I perma-banned most of your IDs it was probably my fault. Tell me which one didnt get a personal explanation, I'll go back and send a note.

As long you don't do crazy stuff, I doubt they'll ban you. I have account at v7n as well as DP, nothing happen on both forums. Of course, there are some moderators who are quite strict. But I do prefer DP because I sell more stuff here. :)

LOL. You would. No doubt you've lost a few geo-challenged IDs that got confused about their location when filling out a profile there.

For example, your intro here says...

You might want to note that people in this country seldom say they're "from USA"...
And if I were looking at IP info... based on content and syntax I suspect it'd say Islamabad is your true location. I don't mind when people leave it blank, but as stated above, the guys that like to play fantasy games with their location get banned on sight because if the first thing they do on arrival is start lying, I really dont want them anywhere near the WTS threads.

Feel free to correct me if you're actually in the US... but don't forget that premium members can see your true location and they might not back your play. I'll bet our respective logins you're spinning a tale there. Care to wager with me my fuzzy little friend? :)
