Twitter or Facebook....Which one is a better social media marketing tool?

I'm interested to hear from anyone making money! I personally see far more money being made by twitter users. Facebook is to locked down for any real aggressive marketing. I maybe wrong here I would love to hear from a Facebook guy making thousands per day! And if you are out there I'm always hungry to learn something new!From our experience Twitter makes sales!!

I think so twitter is better for social media marketing. Using twitter you can get large number of traffic, Its work as a micro blogging which is best as compare to facebook.

 

It works as Micro Blogging..Not Macro Blogging. Since there is a word limit!

I will prefer to Facebook for social media marketing. This is really very nice.

 

It depends what traffic you are looking for, facebook provides highly targetted traffic but it is much more difficult to obtain than twitter traffic. Twitter is not as targeted but thousands of visitors in a broad niche can be generated with relatively little effort

 

Facebook and Twitter work different! Your strategy should depend on the product and what kind of traffic you are looking for

 

For me are both good but Twitter is more professional than Facebook ,but if you make a fan page in Facebook then you can attract people too.

 

It's really depends on how you market it.If you have a lots of friends or lots of fans on your fan page,you can expect good traffic from facebook
Also,if you have tens of thousands of active followers on twitter,you can still recieve good traffic.

I think facebook is much better as compare with twitter. In facebook there are many tools which twitter does not provide.

 

I use the both platforms. If you want me to rank those means i will rank facebook as no.1 and twitter the 2nd. I am not pretending that twitter is not effective but this is just my personal view and my experience as i work more on facebook and a bit less in twitter. thats it. however both are too good to make good market of our brands.

 

As far as I think Twitter is handy, instant and goes viral within minutes where as Facebook is like a tortoise. Slow, steady but is winning the race by giving out more options & features to communicate with the end user!

 

Twitter has lesser ads than Facebook. Everybody surely dislikes ads, and Twitter removes them from their main navigation. So that's a Like for Twitter​

I think Twitter due to the fact that you can search users. Im failing to find how to search users in facebook for the business side.

 

You can search users in Facebook, however atm I don't recall how to do it.
