Which script have you tried and found good and easily editable?

I have heard not so good things from PhpFox, I've played with PHPizabi and it's not what I need. Other than those, I'm open to suggestion.

I am in need of something that can easily have blocks added to it's main and member pages.

Well I will be the first to tell you that phpFox is one of the best! :)

They have a great support community, mods/fixes are released on a regular basis and the tech support is second to none. :)

    I use it on www.jibble.com

Hmm, well that looks really good. Is it easy to add new blocks to the front page? Custom made of course.

Yes, it is. It's also going to be ALOT easier as 1.5 is close to being released as RC1 in the next week or two and it uses Smarty.

Also, rather than seeing what other people type about PHPFox - try their Demo first and get a feel for it. Most of the people who talk down about their script are (unfortunately) implanted members from other Rival Software.

Believe me, it's happened several times in this forum as well. Even today in the Introductions, actually. ;)

    So try the demo: http://www.phpfoxdemo.com

1.1 is great but when 1.5 hits -- it's going to blow 1.1 out of the water as far as being able to modify the script, speed, security, etc. :)
