    You can't compare MAC, PC, and Linux

    MAC is a COMPUTER made by ONE company, Apple.
    PC is a COMPUTER TYPE made by SEVERAL companies.
    Linux is an OPERATING SYSTEM that works on most computers.

    The CLUELESS OP is trying to compare a COMPUTER with a COMPUTER TYPE with an OPERATING SYSTEM. That is like comparing APPLES, CARROTS, and PORK - they CANNOT be compared.

    Pretty much, but I enumerated it in hopes that the clueless DP experts would understand that you cannot compare dissimilar objects. And I pretty much hinted at that in post #7 of this thread, though I did not go into detail then.
