I have just set up a new Proxy List Site , Submit your Proxy Sites on TheProxyList , we will be promoting the Proxy List in the next few days , So make sure your Proxys are on the site ready for the big rush.

 

Do you use a lot of .info domains or do you use .coms, .nets and .mes for your short term proxies? Does it matter?

 

.com & .net are better for long term brandablity, .info for the set-and-forget. They all cost about the same to renew anyway so it depends how much you want to spend setting them up. .com is easier for people to remember and I wouldn't buy the .info of an already established .com unless I owned it, you'll just send them more traffic. But when they're blocked they're blocked whatever the TLD.

 

I used to buy +-700 .info domains on Godaddy (for one year, don't renew them since they're blocked anyways after a year) and set up the proxies. The price at that time was about $1 per domain if I remember well. I then added every proxy (like 50 in one day) to all toplists. On every proxy I had a newsletter subscription, after one month I had about 3500 subscribers and blasted out 10 fresh proxies daily to those users.

But then I sold it all, including the proxy group etc. but at least I earned some money fast. Unfortunately its all spent.

I just thought I'd let everyone know that I've been cleaning house and Topnanon.com (proxy list site) is up to date and ready for submissions. I never stopped accepting new proxies but had to clean out all the dead links...something like 4000 of them lol!

Also, Eliteproxies.com (toplist) is still around and getting good traffic so submit your proxies there too!

what way you use to monetize?? always adsense for the main page and banner show for the proxified page?

 

Are you sure you want to return to this biz? Its been banned by many countries and I don't think its a good idea to redo this biz anymore

 

I use proxy software Goblin who take various existing active proxy. How do you think?

 

I'm planning to kill my proxy network after this month since Google is giving me a hard time. I only have two dying websites left in the network anyway. I have never paid attention to the network over the years but it had a nice run in 2010 for about 10k in adsense profit, and a decrease to 4k last year. It's dying now with just 400-600 visitors a day.
