I read both posts trying to find the mistakes, then realized it was the thread titles that set you off. :p
Proper use of the English language is dead. In fact, "doing things properly" in general (or even trying to) is a dead idea. 70% effort seems be considered good enough these days - from spelling and grammar, to sales assistants, to the guy mowing my lawn.

I spelled realized with a z. Or should that be spelt? :D

I get mixed up myself, going back and forth between the two all the time.

But I reckon it should be with the "z" because you live in the land down under :)

Realised is correct in AU, but I don't like it.
Spelt is also correct in AU, but I don't use it often because the Americans think I'm talking about wheat.

Haha I know mate. Simply said it because "z" is used in OZ so you're forgiven for getting mixed up :p

Way too cryptic for me on a Sunday/long weekend :)
Funny how most of the world refers to Australia as "Oz" with a Z, yet so many people say "ossssie" instead of "ozi".

Hardly surprising. Those UK riots were instigated by a bunch of uneducated bums that think the world owes them something.

Cuba  thinks I'll go and gets me a PHD in "cigarology" :)

In all seriousness though it's interesting to see that the nations with a small population tend to score higher in rank than the larger ones. I think this is more to do with education resource/per citizen and probably shows what population limits should be imposed in proportion to a nations GDP, that is if we lived in a mathematical, scientific ideal world.
