Recently I am facing a problem with my PC. I'm using Windows XP 2003 server. If I start using a USB device, e.g. a Printer, my computer just shuts off after about 20-30 minutes, and only the green light on my CPU keeps blinking.

I Want to know the reason for this ?

Shut down your computer completely, unplug the power cord from the back for at least a minute (this drains the power from everything). Then power back up. This should reset your BIOS.

    Alternatively, this might help.

I think your power supply system is weak. When you connect any portable device to the pc and your portable device is weak so your system will suddenly shut down. So i suggest you to replace your power supply. One more cause of this problem is that may be you USB drivers are out of date. First Update your drivers, if problem does not solve, change the Power Supply, it will work
