Do you know something about Pinterest followers?

Recently I have got several mails from our customers asking about Pinterest followers... it's a shame to admit but I have not heard much about this social network. I was told that Pinterest is as big as twitter now... Is it true? Does this social network have potential and do we need to add services connecting with Pinterest? What do you think?

When I check pinterest I see a lot of people selling fashion accessories, shoes and clothes. You can put the website under the image just to create brand awareness because double clicking on the picture will actually redirect you to the website where the image was taken from. But Pinterest does have lots of potential but you just have to treat very differently from other social networking sites as it is reliant on images. So if you have an item you can post pictures of how it can be used. You'll also benefit if other pinterest users pins an image from your website.

 

I just signed up for pinterest. It's not just all about selling, it's sharing the same interests and your certain love for something with other people.

Yes. Marketing your business in Pinterest brings me so much traffic from it. Been using the site for almost 3 weeks now.

 

Pintrest is a fast growing networking site but in my opinion it doesn't have that much room to expand or get that much bigger than it will be in the near future.

On a somewhat related note I've seen a few clones of the site for sale in different places in particular flippa.

i guess i should pick up Pinterest for marketing now too. i've been hearing about it recently, on webmaster forums, in the media. i guess it's a good source of social traffic now a days.

 

I just watched it and nice site. But I think they are now limiting new registrations and created a waiting list. Really Impressed with this site.
