I don't think this thread is about how to become successful entrepreneur implementing Math. And no I am not suggesting what you are interpreting. Its about how to implement math in SEO field.

All I suggest is that he could use logarithms to write good code. Not really to do with SEO!

Read through this: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/util/TreeSet.html and look for this: "This implementation provides guaranteed log(n) time cost for the basic operations (add, remove and contains)." This speed up your operations making your code to work faster and perform the task in less time.

And same was taught in Data Structures course - tree traversal using log(n) time.

Or maybe you know jack about Data Structures and what I just spoke seemed latin to you :p
I am only saying if you understand logarithms well, you can come up with highly efficient algorithms. And hence you could be a good coder. One of the key reasons you have to take Cal 1, 2, Linear Algebra, Diff Equations 1, 2, Discrete Math 1, 2, Automata Theory - so many math courses in CS or CE.

My CS background will probably be well above yours. No need to try to give me engine 101 lecture.. :D

That's the funniest statement I've ever heard recently. :D:D:D

This thread is getting out of control... Sorry to the OP. I'm outta here.

    Cheers,
