Think it out, make sure you have perfect plans then get a coder at www.RentACoder.com , or something similar.

In some point you have to share you idea with other people since you think you do not have expertise to implement your idea. Most ideas are not implemented by single person.

If you think your idea is so revolutionary then you should file for patent (I am not sure how patent works or if you can patent an idea or not. You better talk to a patent lawyer about this). That will give you the protection. Then you can make deal with other people to implement your idea.

If you really think it is going to work, you may get a patent and then make it public. And build around your idea.

if you can make Google a toy, that would be nice.

    Thanks

If it is really that great of an idea I agree you would want to keep it under lock and key however I have heard this story before. Usually it isn't that revolutionary. As the below poster mentioned rent-a-coder have great REAL people who do good jobs. Other freelancer sites have alot of crooks.
If you care to send me a PM I will tell you what I think and won't share it with anyone else. I don't care either way.

AHHHH! This is exactly what I do. Commercialisation of IT concepts. All of the replies are right, but commercialising any good idea is a function of a multiplicity of variables, any one of which can go wrong.

I would suggest starting with some sort of feasibility study, most importantly a competitor analysis, that way at least you will know whether what you are thinking has been done before!

how about having a lawyer write a confidentialy statment and then approaching a reputable company and/or university in yout town with it to help you the rest of the way
beside the idea and technical knowledge you also need capial but if the idea is that good then even if you share a large chunck of it you are still good

I wouldn't get too excited about trying to change google or adsense from the outside.

Can your idea be implemented successfully without Google's permission?

Ever hear of a Non-Disclosure agreement with a non-compete clause? Real handy stuff :0)

I use them all the time

Yeah that is the way to go. I recommend contacting Seobook or SeoMoz. If it is something good they won't steal your idea but may try to pay you for it. If it isn't they would know.

Yeah, right.. I have an idea of how to become richer than Bill Gates.. But that's just not enough.. Think about at what you are saying. Even if it's better than Google, still there are much, much more.I can see from here, that you only got the idea , but no other way of developing it.. And why sould I believe that it's revolutionary?
