I have some money to invest, I want to use them in Christmas business.
    Any recommendation?
I prefer to build my own site, but I have no idea of the topic.
    Thanks

Would it have to be specifically Christmas-related? Like James said, you could do product reviews... then before Christmas, you could do gift-giving features (like top 10 of this or that, etc.). This way you could keep traffic going all year, and do top picks for other holidays and such, like father's day, valentine's day, etc.

Ummm I have some bad news for you.....

Christmas started in July & August

Unless you can get a site put up quickly and have a lot of money to spend on advertising (Dont forget testing to see if it works) you may be a bit too late for this Christmas season..

I am pushing a client now of high end wares like crazy to get his site filled out, so we can get into PPC by December 1st.....and I am not sure then if we wont be too late to gain maximum benefit.

Make a quick site, sign up as an affilate with a few related companies,
get their products database displayed on your site

and sell Ipods ! Ipods ! and ... yeah Ipods ! and things like that

I am also agree with Sem-Advance,

You do not have sufficient time to buid and promote your site for christmas.
For quick promotion you can go for PPC and email marketing but again it can cost you more because of huge competition business.

Uh - You're never too late. Maybe for this year, yes. But it's never to late to start building an authoritative site for next year. That stands for any holiday as well.

Do a 3 ipod giveaway, use adwords to get visitors and ask 'em real email, if they win, you send a email, you will have a _BIG_ email database, then sell alot of ipods and make big bucks. And don't giveaway the 3 ipods, tell that your father, ur brother and ur momma won it and thats all.

That sounds like a good idea. Many people have trouble thinking of what to buy for other people.

If you are a decent writer, consider adding some holiday themed articles to your site. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of things, a nice little narrative can be an enjoyable read.

    Hi!,

How about associating with companies who will pay for each clicks and for each unique click, a part of the money will go for the upliftment of street children.I hope you got some inspiration of the concept which I am trying to drive you at.
