I got an email from stumbleupon that said they were changing some things and that they were closing their service down to blogs and some other types of websites (wish I held onto that e-mail now, I'd like to read it again).

I've been told by others that it is easier to catch on if others submit for you on some bookmark sites, while others it doesn't seem to matter. I suppose it is all about content too, my stuff is fiction so it isn't very "viral".

 

From my experience, Digg is more about pr and leveling, not to mention all of the power users still left. I'd go with stumble and reddit. If you have a somewhat interesting enough article and a good read, you'd be more likely to get frontpage with little support to your article
