    Hi friends,

    I want to know that how alexa determine the rank for website. I read about many articles over internet. But two of them make me confused.

    1. Should write about Alexa and link back them. [but i already placed their widget, then why it should required?]
    2. Maintain specific time to publish article. Random timing is bad for alexa algorithm!! [I run a current news blog, then how could it possible to maintain specific timing?]

    It will be helpful for me if some one explain about this two factor. Thanks

    no, it doesn't require a fixed posting time. it requires "visit", specially from those with Alexa Toolbar. if you want to know more

    alexa is only about traffic, it doesnt care whether you update your site.
    They only collect the traffic data, that's all

    Alexa rank depends on your website traffic. There is nothing like these 2 stupid rules created by someone who confused you.
    No need to link back to their site. Publish when you wish to.

    a lot of people are saying that Alexa doesn't matter anymore. however, a lot of CPA companies are looking for your Alexa Rank as one of their requirements.
