I'm wondering if Googlebot IP's are getting caught up in their firewalls, preventing access to crawl sites on that server? It's a common problem, but I'm not sure if your host has prepared for this already or not. Either way seems like awful long wait times for a reply, which don't indicate what's actually been checked against by the host

Don't know if I'd go as far as to call it a scam though, they are providing the service but the support may be lacking.

The server was offline for 2 days? Based on the support they provided you with, it wouldn't be long before I jumped ship to another provider. Have you decided to stay with them for the time being?

Everyone is jumping to the OP's defence, but has anyone looked at the DNS records? The owner of the domain (assuming it is 20rin.com) has set up the nameservers at the domain registrar incorrectly. DNS 2 has the same IP as DNS1 according to the domain registry record, but the nameservers themselves return a different IP for DNS2. That in itself is going to potentially cause problems, particularly if DNS 1 is down or slow to respond as there will be no backup service that can be found. That's the reason why there are usually 2 or more DNS servers and why they don't have any preference level. That isn't the hosts fault and whoever added the nameservers for the domain at the registrar - usually the domain owner - has to take responsibility.

One thing that would worry me is that the DNS server, Email Server, and Web Server all share the same IP. That looks like a very small hosting company, or else a "hosting company" with only a single server. Not the sort of set-up that would give me any confidence. The serial number of the DNS record suggests that no changes were made to the DNS record for that domain on the day Support says they made them.

Given all these services running on that IP, I wouldn't be surprised if DNS1 was slow, so packet loss is almost inevitable if there no other DNS server to connect to that is known, and that folks is entirely the fault of the domain owner not the hosting company.

Seems to me there are faults to be found on both side, but the original problem posted about - packet loss - is not really the hosts fault.

Before anyone says it, no I don't work for Xbroshost, and until this post I'd never heard of them.
