Browsers showing only italic letters

Two days ago both of my browsers (I use Mozilla and Opera) were showing everything in italic letters. After a few researches on the Internet I found many complicated solutions. I finally managed to find a simple solution, so I wanted to share this with you in case that this may happen to your computer.

If your browsers or your computer is showing everything in italic or bold letters follow this steps"
1. Go to :

Control Panel/Appearance and Themes/Fonts

2. Cut the fonts and paste them to a backup folder on your desktop (you can do this to all fonts or only to the ones which are causing the problem- I used this only on the arial fonts)

3.Copy the fonts from the backup folder to the
Control Panel/Appearance and Themes/Fonts.

4.This way the fonts will be reinstalled and your issue should be solved.

What made this happen in the first place?

 

Uninstall the browsers and install it for the second time.

 

Some errors in the fonts folder I suppose. It is important that following those steps resolved the issue.

 

Reinstalling the browsers didn't solved the problem, although this is what I tried first. The error is in windows, not in the browser.
